Syrian Democratic Council prepares new year education program

Many schools run despite the exceptional situation lived by Northern Syria.

Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) held a meeting on Tuesday to evaluate the activities of its Education Bureau.

Despite the ongoing threats especially from the Turkish army, the Autonomous Administration in the Federation of Northern Syria is trying to make life confortable for all its citizens.

Education and schooling are among the main priorities.

The meeting was held at the Syrian Democratic Council building in Gire Spi in the town of Ayn Isa.
The meeting was attended by several co-chairs of the MSD education bureau: from Gire Spi, Raqqa, Tabqa, Manbij and Deir ez-Zor.

The monthly activity reports of the different education offices  were evaluated at the meeting while at the same time participants made suggestions about the running of next year education programs.

MSD Education Office co-chair, Nesrin Doko spoke to ANHA about the meeting and said: "We have opened our schools in an extraordinary situation and being fairly unprepared. This year also thanks to the recommendation received from meetings like this, things will greatly improved. We are confident we would meet the students' needs in terms of activities and curricula, but also in terms of educational materials and school needs in general."

All Education Committees will spend the summer training new teachers for the new school year.
