Students in Bologna (Italy) have occupied an abandoned building in the context of the 15 October transnational demonstration. The students have named the new occupied building Taksim, to honour protesters of Gezi Park in Istanbul.

In Bologna, like in many other cities, students are protesting against cuts to education. On the 18 of October autonomous unions have also called a strike.
