Tens of thousands from across North Kurdistan continue to flock to the village of Etmanek, which is located near the Mürşitpınar border crossing, after urban warfare started in the Kobanê town of West Kurdistan late Monday evening, leaving thousands of civilians under the threat of imminent massacre.
As the mass march to the border was joined by more and more people every hour, thousands of people have gone to the villages of Alîzêr, Qop, Bedhê, Dewşen, Etmanik, Boydê and Sıwêdê to join the vigil in solidarity with the Kobanê resistance continuing for two weeks.
While resistance vigil in the mentioned villages continues, Turkish troops attacked the people with tear gas as they gathered in the Etmanek village. Soldiers left the village after intervening the mass for some time.
