Tev-Çand Europe: Let's take to the streets everywhere against Turkish attacks on Rojava

Tev-Çand Europe pointed out that mass genocide has been implemented against the Kurdish people and called on everyone to " take a stand against this brutality, let's raise our voice and take to the streets everywhere."

The European Kurdish Cultural Movement (Tev-Çand Europe) issued a call to everyone to speak out against the all-out genocidal attacks carried out by the Turkish state in Northern and Eastern Syria since Thursday morning.

The call to the Kurdish people and all artists said: "The racist and genocidal Turkish state has been detaining hundreds of people and subjecting them to interrogations under torture in political genocide operations for days, under the pretext of the action carried out by guerrillas in Ankara [last Sunday]."

The call continued: "When Turkey cannot cope with the guerrillas in South Kurdistan, they carry out attacks. Since Thursday morning, all cities, towns and villages of Rojava have been bombed by warplanes. Dozens of civilians lost their lives and hundreds of civilians were injured in these attacks. The living spaces of the civilian population have been destroyed, and mass genocide has been implemented against the Kurdish people."

The statement added: "We state once again: no matter what the Turkish state says, this war is not against the PKK, but against all Kurds and all of Kurdistan. This is our call to our people and all artists. Let's take a stand against this brutality, let's raise our voices and take to the streets everywhere."
