Following the increase of incessant operations and casualities of Turkish army units, the government has appealed to another implementation of 90s. The number of village guards, known as "crime machines", is being increased in Kurdistan after the clash in Silvan.

The number of village-guards is multiplied in the mountain villages of Silvan in conjuction with the re-introduction of the special operations teams, which terrorized in Kurdistan in 90s, in Ankara a few days ago.

Silvan Regimental Commandry has reportedly held a meeting with village guards after a village-guard gave information and details concerning the clash in Silvan where 13 soldiers died in the fire ignited by the bombardment of the Turkish army.

According to the information gathered by the ANF, local resources of the region reported that the meeting, which was participated by a Lieutenant Commander and 40 village guards, made a decision to employ many new village-guards in the mountain villages of Silvan.

While reportedly 25 new guards will be taken into service for each village, the village guards were asked to be in cooperation with soldiers during the operations.
