Following house raids in several houses in Þemdinli police and the army have taken into custody several people. Among those are Naif Yalçýn, the deputy mayor and BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) chair Þuayip Sevik.

According to the first reports coming through several people, mostly BDP members, have been taken to the local police barrack.
