Thirteen people arrested in Bismil
Police has taken 13 demonstrators into custody following skirmishes between police officers and demonstrators in Bismil, a district of Diyarbakýr. Many people already gathered in front of Bismil Police Department Building to stage a protest against police’s arresting people.

Silvan Public Prosecutor made a decision to officially arrest Selim Demir, 19, Mehmet Ýslam Satar, 58, Recep Cangönül, 27, and Zeynep Parlak, 23, for “chanting illegal slogans” during the celebration of Newroz in Silvan, a district of Diyarbakýr.
Three out of seven detainees in Batman have been officially arrested and sent to Batman M Type Closed Prison. They were detained during police intervention to break down the mass ‘Democratic Solution Meeting’ held by the Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) Silvan Branch in front of Democratic Solution Tent last week.
