A large crowd gathered in front of the BBC in London and then marched to the Parliament building.

Elif Gün from the Kurdistan Students' Union (YXK) condemned the attacks carried out by Turkey against Northern and Eastern Syria and said: "Rojava means equality, democracy, freedom. There is a new way of life which has become reality thanks to the women's revolution in Rojava. The Kurds defeated ISIS and now Turkey wants to eliminate the achievements reached by Kurds."

Ercan Akbal, co-chair of the British Kurdish People's Assembly, said that there was a great resistance in Rojava and struggle against the occupying Turkish state and added: "There is a great resistance against these invaders. The Erdogan regime is an enemy of humanity."
