After the conference on Ecology and Local Governments at Cegerxwin Cultural Center, a long barreled weapon bullet was put behind Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaþ and Gültan Kýþanak on Friday.
According to information received, a kalashnikov bullet was put behind BDP co-chairs during Demirtaþ’s statement to journalist about the summary issued for the removal of the parliamentary immunity for eight BDP deputies.
Following the discovery of the bullet, Demirtaþ said that this kind of threats will not be able to prevent them from proceeding on their way.
It grabs attention that the bullet threat against BDP executives was made before Erdoðan’s visit to Diyarbakýr on 2 June and in a process when the Prime Minister has accused BDP members of “treachery”.
BDP MP Sýrrý Sakýk was also subject to a bullet threat in December of 2011 when he received his gun with a bullet after delivering it empty to security officers at Adana Airport.
