Three-day march for Ocalan in southern France

The march organising committee called for strong participation in Saturday’s rally in Marseille.

Kurds and their friends have been staging long marches in central European cities during the past one week to mark the 20th anniversary of the International Conspiracy that led to the capture of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

A three-day march has been started in Martigues commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône region in southern France to protest the international conspiracy and isolation against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The march kicked off from the town hall with the participation of 120 people from Marseille, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Dragunyan and Toulouse.

The activists who aim to end their action in Marseille, 40 km to Martigues, express solidarity with hunger strikers and condemn the international conspiracy and the Turkish state’s occupation threats against Rojava.

After spending the night in Marignan today, the demonstrators will end their march with a rally at the Joliette Square in Marseille on Saturday.
