Three people including a minor were taken into custody as result of a police operation in the Alparslan and Kazım Karabekir neighborhoods of Ağrı province.

The operation by police and special operation teams, which has traditionally been conducted at the break of dawn, resulted in the detention of a minor aged 15 and Muhamed Karagöz (18) and Berat Karaman (30) on the grounds that they participated October's demonstrations in solidarity with the Kobanê resistance.

The detainees are being held at provincial police headquarters.
