One of the accused, E.D, who had been caught while taking two ISIS members to Syria, said in the hearing that he had only organised the departure of these two persons to Antep.
E.D.’s brother Y.S.D on the other hand admitted that he had crossed into Syria several times illegally to deliver humanitarian aid through IHH (Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief), which was frequently mentioned in relation to the delivery of weapons to the gang groups in Syria in trucks of MIT (National Intelligence Organisation).
While one other accused, S.B, also said he conducted works for humanitarian aid in Syria, another one, O.Ç., only said “I sympathize with ISIS”.
Following the testimonies, the court decided to release S.B, E.D and his brother Y.S.D. Only one ISIS member was remanded in custody.
