17 buildings were destroyed in the 6.9 magnitude earthquake with epicentre off the Seferihisar district of Izmir on Friday, October 30. The number of people who lost their lives increased to 114. 1035 people were injured in the earthquake and 36 of them are still being treated.
Search and rescue efforts have been completed in Bayraklı, the district most affected by the earthquake.
Nine people, including contractors, who were detained for the destroyed buildings, were transferred to the courthouse.
Nine of the 11 people who had been issued with an arrest warrant were detained on 2 November.
