Trustee appointed to Saray municipality
Saray co-mayor Caziye Duman was taken into custody in the latest police political operation and was replaced by a trustee.
Co-mayor of Saray Municipality (Van), Caziye Duman, was taken into custody on Friday in the latest of the police political operation aimed at the HDP. Following the arrest of co-mayor Duman, the ministry appointed Mehmet Halis Aydın, the District Governor, as trustee.
The number of HDP-run municipalities to which a trustee has been appointed has increased to 14.
