Turkey sends mercenaries trained in Hewlêr to Libya

According to the Khalifa Haftar forces in Libya, the Turkish state is sending mercenary groups from South Kurdistan to Libya.

Ahmed al-Mismari, spokesman for the Libyan National Army, affiliated to commander Khalifa Haftar, who holds the east of Libya, argued that the Turkish state sent mercenaries it trained in South Kurdistan to Libya.

Al-Mismari, who held a press conference in Benghazi, pointed out that the mercenary "Şakir Ferman Salih Bonciq Hîrfekê", who was sent to Libya, had been trained together with 'Roj fighters' in Hewlêr (Erbil).

Pointing out that the Turkish state has also prepared a group of mercenaries to support the Ikhwanist in Yemen, al-Mismari added that these mercenaries would be sent to Yemen for a monthly salary of 5,000 dollars.

The Turkish regime directly supports the national unity government, which is dominated by Tripoli-based Ikhwanist.

The Ankara regime, which has also signed controversial agreements with this government, explicitly ignored the UN Security Council arms embargo and offers weapons, ammunition, armored vehicles and drones support. The Turkish regime also sent its troops to Tripoli alongside thousands of mercenaries previously deployed in Syria.
