Turkish army bombed Zap and Kandil today

Following an aerial attack in Zap region, Turkish warplanes bombed Kandil today, in the fourth day of the cross-border operation.

According to the reports coming, guerilla-controlled “Kani Cenge” and “Martyr Harun” areas in Kandil were bombed by the warplanes at 14:30 local time after an air-assault in Zap at 11:30 local time in Kurdish Federal Region.

In a statement to Rudaw, Sidekan sub-district governor Ehmed Qadir remarked that Turkish warplanes bombed areas at a distance of five kilometers from Sidekan yesterday. Qadir said; “The Turkish army bombed our borders and some villages close to our district at 19.30 last night with artillery shootings and warplanes. Local community is worried about the attacks and people in seven villages had to migrate last night due to the air raids in South Kurdistan since 17 August.”
