Turkish Foreign minister Ahmet Davutoðlu has arrived in Syria while news report that Syrian tanks have entered a city near the Turkish border. According to reports the Syrian army has entered the city of Binnish, some 30 chilometers away from Turkey.
The Turkish foreign minister had announced he would deliver a strong message to president Bashar al-Assad about the need to halt the ongoing attacks on demonstrators.
Turkey's stand was met by a sharp reaction from the Syrian government.
"If Davutoðlu is coming to Syria to deliver a decisive message, then he will hear even more decisive words in relation to Turkey's position," Bouthaina Shaaban, a government advisor, said.
