As the resistance of YPG (People's Protection Units) fighters in the Kobanê canton of Rojava enters 6th day, it is being observed that the Turkish media is working like a media organisation of ISIS gangs.

All day yesterday there was an extensive coverage of fabricated news regarding the execution of 300 PKK (Kurdistan Worker's Party) and PYD (Democratic Union Party) fighters by ISIS gangs, the purpose being to bring about psychological demoralisation.

It has been established that the footage used by the Turkish media as if it is footage of PKK-PYD fighters, is of Iraqi soldiers being shot dead in Selahaddin province. It was published by AFP on 14 June 2014.

The use of this footage of the execution of Iraqi soldiers by fascist ISIS gangs by the Turkish media without confirmation has been interpreted as evidence of direct supported by the Turkish state and media for ISIS.

The news regarding the so called execution of 300 PKK and PYD fighters by the ISIS gangs, which was covered extensively in Radikal, Cumhuriyet, Milliyet and Sabah newspapers, was firstly provided by the Cihan News Agency, the media organisation of the Fethullah Gülen Movement.
