Following the attacks carried out last night on military post in Kekliktepe and the buildings of soldier and police in Çukurca district of Hakkari, Turkish soldiers have crossed the border of South Kurdistan from two separate points in Çukurca for follow-up.
While the Chief of General Staff Necdet Özel and force commanders went to Çukurca after receiving the news of the event, a battalion level commando unit is reported to be conducting an operation at the inner side of the border.
Meanwhile, warplanes taking off from Diyarbakýr bombed the guerrilla-controlled Zap region at 08.30 this morning.
Qandil, Xakurke and Xinere regions were also bombed by Turkish warplanes at around 20.00 on Tuesday night.
