Turkish state terror protested in Strasbourg

Thousands of Kurds from across Europe have gathered in Strasbourg today to protest Turkish state's genocidal attacks on the people of North Kurdistan, and the silence of the European institutions.

Thousands of Kurds from across Europe have gathered in Strasbourg today to protest Turkish state's genocidal attacks on the people of North Kurdistan, and the silence of the European Council, European Court of Human Rights and European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.

Led by the KCD-E (European Kurdish Democratic Societies Congress) and European Kurdish Women’s Movement (TJK-E), thousands of people started a march from the headquarters of the Council of Europe (EC), European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and the European Commission for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) in Strasbourg. The demo is also supported and participated by European Peace and Democracy Assembly (ABDEM) and European Association of Democratic Power.

"Everywhere Sur, everywhere resistance", "Murderer Erdoğan, collaborator EU" and "Freedom for Öcalan" are among the most commonly chanted slogans.

The demo will end with a rally at Placa Klebe.
