Turkish warplanes hit Kurdish areas again this morning

Following the intense bombing last night in South Kurdistan, Turkish warplanes have resumed the attack this morning. The first bombing began at 09.00 p.m. last night and targeted the Xinere, Lolan, Kani Qirej and Xakurke areas in the Kurdish Federal region.

The second attack came at around 03.00 a.m.

Speaking to ANF last night, one HPG member said that no casualities are reported among the guerrillas but he confirmed that some villages have been hit and there could be casualities among civilians. "We were expecting this attacks for some time -added the Kurdish guerilla- so when it came it didn't took us by surprise."

The third attack this morning began at 09.00 o'clock and it is continuing.

According to the Turkish General Staff, the warplanes hit 60 different times and 168 artillery shots were fired in the Kurdish Federal Region.
