A number of Peshmerga forces were killed and wounded in a car bomb explosion in front of a Peshmerga headquarter in Jabara sub- district in Garmeyan.
The wounded were taken to Kalar and Kifri hospitals to receive treatment, the source added.

Separate explosions in Baghdad left at least 20 people dead and 35 wounded.

A suicide attack was reported at Ramadi police station: at least 4 policemen died and 15 were wounded. On another bomb attack at a second police station, 4 officers died and 7 were wounded.

In Kaim, at the border with Syria, one soldier was killed and one wounded following an armed attack on a soldier convoy.
