Two-day march against isolation in Frankfurt

A two-day march has been launched in Frankfurt to protest the isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

As Kurdish people and their friends continue their protests for Abdullah Ocalan all around the world, demanding an end to the isolation regime on him and his freedom, long marches have been taking place across Europe to mark the 20th anniversary of the international conspiracy which led to the arrest of the Kurdish leader on February 15, 1999.

A two-day march has been launched in the German city of Frankfurt on Monday to protest the conspiracy and isolation against Ocalan.

Kurds from Frankfurt, Mainz and Giessen are joining the march which kicked off at Hauptwache Square with a banner “Stop the isolation”.

On the first day of the march, the activists are heading towards Hofheim am Taunus.

Tomorrow at 10am the demonstrators will set out for the state parliament in Wiesbaden.
