Two-day march for Öcalan in Belgium

Kurds in Europe stage long marches in protest at the February 15 international conspiracy against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the isolation imposed on him by the Turkish state.

A two-day march was started in Leuvan city of Belgium to protest the 21st anniversary of the International Conspiracy which led to the capture in Kenya of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan on 15 February 1999.

The march kicked off from the Leuvan train station at 11:00 this morning. On the first day of their protest action, the activists will march to Kortenberg. The second stage of the march will start from here on Monday and continue to the European Parliament in Brussels where a rally will be held to conclude the protest.
