Two Germans detained in Van released this morning

Two German citizens have been taken into custody last night in Van. The two are part of a delegation visiting Van where German citizen Andrea Wolf is believed to have been buried in a mass grave together with other 41 Kurdish guerrillas.

The two detained were sociologist Martin Dolzer and Martin Glasenapp. They have been released this morning after being questioned for many hours.

The two had been taken into custody in their hotel and according to the information coming through have been arrested for "making propaganda for the PKK".

The international delegation has been having huge problems since its arrival in Turkey. Indeed they have been prevented from visiting the mass grave site by the local security authorities.
