Two children in Derik district of Mardin have been arrested for alleged membership to a terrorist organisation.

The two minors aged 16 and 17 were referred to Derik Courthouse after being detained on the grounds of participating demos in solidarity with Kobanê on 6-7 October.

Both have been arrested and sent to Mardin E Type Closed Prison for allegedly being members of a terrorist organisation, increasing the number of arrests in connection with Kobanê demos in Derik to 27.
