Two village guards died and one soldier was wounded in clashes between HPG (People’s Defense Forces) guerrillas and Turkish soldiers in the rural area of Bahçesaray, in the district of Van.

Clashes broke out on 6 July evening near the village of Liçan, located 5 kilometers far from the district center.

A large number of military vehicles were sent to the region where clashes are reported continuing.
