Uçar: We will get rid of the AKP-MHP regime

Speaking at the opening of the Green Left Party's women's election office in Van, Co-spokesperson Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar said that the AKP-MHP regime will go and the Green Left will begin a new era.

Green Left Party Co-spokesperson Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar, in her speech at the opening of the women's office in Van, said: “The resistance of our politicians who were arrested and the resistance of many of our friends forced to go into exile is a message for us. And this message tells us that 'the AKP regime will go, we will come'. The one-man regime will go, women, peoples and young people will win."

Noting that society wants change and democracy, Uçar continued: "The government imposes on us a policy of isolation, low wages, violence, and impunity for men who murder women. We are stronger than the People's and Nation Alliance because we are fighting a great fight. We are trying to establish a new democratic order to replace this government. We carried out a great struggle by standing by women. We want to tell this to all women: we will get rid of the AKP-MHP government, which is hostile to women and Kurds."
