Politicians and intellectuals commented on the latest police attacks against Democratic Solution Tents. They said the attacks are serious attempt to limit democracy and the legitimate rights of people.

Socialist Party Chair Sevim Belli said that the blanket raids against the tents are "shameful for us as citizens of Turkey".

Condemning the attacks, Community Centers Chair Ýlknur Birol said that the government is trying to weaken Kurds as they cannot tolerate opposition. Birol also underlined that the government has never welcomed the idea of free Kurds, free Turks or free workers.

AKP government attacks against the people’s legitimate requests will not work, stated Oppressed People’s Socialist Party (ESP) Chair Figen Yüksekdað, Freedom and Democracy Party (ÖDP) Chair Alper Taþ.
