The US delegation has been holding meetings in Raqqa for the last two days and has visited the service institutions in the city today.

The US delegation included Former US Ambassador to Bahrain William Rueback and commanders from the International Coalition Against ISIS. They visited the Raqqa People’s Municipality and discussed services with the authorities.

The delegation and municipal authorities discussed the services provided in the city as the municipal authorities stated that they need equipment to continue the services.

On the debris removal efforts, the People’s Municipality authorities said: “Debris removal efforts are carried out by the municipality and the Reconstruction Committee. But they are weak due to limited resources, and we haven’t received any help in this matter.”

The People’s Municipality has been working non-stop since the city was liberated from ISIS gangs.
