The resistance by YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defence Units) against ISIS gangs in the Kobanê Canton of West Kurdistan, Rojava, has entered the 16th day.

Clashes have intensified on the eastern and southern fronts last night, reported the ANF correspondent on the ground, stating that last night witnessed violent clashes in the village of Kolmet to the south of the canton, and in the village of Şêran to the east.

A military vehicle belonging to the gangs was destroyed in the Şêran village, while YPG/YPJ forces strongly responded to the ISIS gangs that attacked the village of Helincê, again on the eastern front, from three directions.

Fierce clashes in both villages continued all night long.
