Iraq’s Elections Committee announced that the manual recounting of the votes cast on May 12 has been completed.

The Elections Committee had cancelled half the votes in Baghdad after receiving a torrent of complaints about election fraud.

The Iraqi Parliament had convened in June about election fraud to cancel the elections nationwide and authorize the manual recount.
