People's Democratic Congress (HDK) Women assembly, will organize a rally for Rojava and to call for a renew effort for negotiation in Turkey. The rally will be held on Saturday 2 November in Istanbul. 

The women of the HDK have been long involved in campaigning for Rojava and especially the women and children, who suffer greatly because of the ongoing war. The rally will also call on the AKP government to stop building the "walls of shame" along the border with Rojava.

But the rally will also call for negotiations in Turkey. The women call on the AKP government to engage in genuine peace talks with Kurds. The women will also ask for the electoral threshold to be lifted as a gesture towards peace.
