Women held civil disobedience action in Mannheim

Solidarity actions demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan are continuing.

Women in Mannheim have tied their mouth and protested against the CPT and the Council of Europe.

Women underlined that the hunger strike resistance led by DTK co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven is continuing with great determination. They reminded that the HDP Hakkari MP has been on hunger strike for 113 days.

The action took place in Paradaplatz and lasted 45 minutes during which women spoke to passersby and explained the reasons and demands of the hunger strikers.
