Twelve women prisoners in Muş M Tipi Kapalı prison announced they have stopped the hunger strike they had begun twelve days ago to protest against the prison administration.

The prisoners' association TUYAD-DER said the protest was called off as the prisoners' demands were met. The prisoners demanded, among other things, not to send male prison guards in the wing.
