Members of the Democratic Movement of Free Women (DÖKH) will go to Þemdinli to protest against the ongoing clashes in the area and to provide solidarity for the people living in the region.
“Silence means being a party to the slaughter” will be the slogan of Kurdish women who will stage a protest march in Þemdinli on 13 August.
The call on behalf of DÖKH was made by Selis Women Association which said that Kurdish women will not allow the Turkish state and militarism to slaughter the people of Þemdinli.
“As a requirement of our historical responsibility, we, the women for peace, will be standing in Þemdinli against the state killing and oppressing a people”, said the DÖKH statement and ended calling on everybody in the struggle to join the march in Þemdinli.
