Writer Mungan to give lecture at BDP Academy
While many intellectuals are put in prison on the grounds of giving lessons at BDP (Peace and democracy Party) Politics Academy, poet and writer Murathan Mungan will also give a lecture at BDP Central Office today. His act aims to react against the arrests.
According to the statement by BDP Press Office, Murathan Mungan will give a lecture to call attention to the violations of freedom of expression and doing politics. The theme of the lecture by Mungan scheduled between 14.00-17.00 today, will be “Ways to be recorded history”.
A large number of academicians and authors, including Prof. Büþra Ersanlý, Ayþe Berktay, Deniz Zarakolu and Ragýp Zarakolu, are remanded in custody, accused of taking place, learning and giving lessons at BDP Politics Academy.
