YPG press unit journalist and film director Mehmed Aksoy was murdered by ISIS mercenaries in 2017. Today he was remembered by his family and loved ones at London Highgate Cemetery on the occasion of his birthday.
A memorial was held today at London’s Highgate Cemetery for film director, writer, journalist and poet Mehmed Aksoy (Firaz Dağ). His family and loved ones celebrated his birthday.
Mehmed Aksoy fell a martyr as a result of an attack launched by ISIS mercenaries in Raqqa on 26 September 2017 while he was working with the YPG press unit.
Aksoy was born on 24 February 1985 in Istanbul. The Aksoy's family had to migrate to England when Mehmed was a child. Mehmet Aksoy was today celebrated with flowers.
