A woman named Berivan Ado was detained in a house raid by the Gendarmerie in the rural neighborhood of Hêlfê (Toruntepe) in Kızıltepe, province of Mardin.

It was learned that Ado, who was taken at Kızıltepe Gendarmerie Station, was detained as part of an investigation opened by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in 2020. Ado was ordered to be taken to Istanbul and a "restriction decision" was imposed.

It was learned that Ado, who was detained in 2019 within the scope of another investigation opened in Istanbul, was released on condition of judicial control and came to Kızıltepe, where her family lived, recently.
