Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (YNK) committee from Southern Kurdistan visited Amed Metropolitan Municipality Co-President Gültan Kışanak before the elections to show support and solidarity.

After their visits to Batman, Siirt, Urfa, Van and Bitlis, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (YNK) representatives Perêz Ömer and Nevzat Salih Muhammed visited Amed Metropolitan Municipality Co-President Gültan Kışanak in her office before the upcoming elections.

YNK Committee Representative Perêz Ömer spoke during the visit and stated that their committee of 41 members have visited 13 cities in northern Kurdistan in order to support the HDP in its election campaign. Ömer emphasized that this was the first time YNK sent an election committee to the region and supports the HDP in its attempt to surpass the election threshold.

Gültan Kışanak thanked the YNK Committee and the people of Southern Kurdistan for their visit and support. Kışanak expressed their happiness at Mam Celal’s improving health conditions and asked the committee members to send their love and respect to Mam Celal. Emphasizing the importance of Mam Celal in Kurdish political life, Kışanak wished him a long and healthy life. Kışanak ended by saying that they would like to celebrate the HDP’s success on June 7 in Hewler and Süleymaniye.
