Young activists protest the embargo on Maxmur in front of the UN
The TCŞ and JCA activists organised a protest in front of the UN in Geneva to demand the lifting of the embargo imposed on Maxmur Camp.
The embargo imposed for almost a year by the KDP on Maxmur Camp was protested by Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Jinen Ciwanên Azad activists in front of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Geneva.
Activists opened banners saying "Lift the embargo on Maxmur" and asked the UN to take action.
While the youngsters hung the banner, they were detained for a short time by the police. The banner was removed by the police while the youth were released within half an hour.
