Celebrations were held in the neighbourhoods of Orman, Kışla and Cumhuriyet in the Gever district of Colemêrg for the 44th anniversary of the PKK's founding.

Fireworks were detonated simultaneously in 3 neighbourhoods and the slogans “Bijî PKK”, “Bijî berxwedana HPG'ê” and “Guerilla dimeşe erd û esman diheje” were chanted.

After the celebrations, a large number of police teams were sent to the neighbourhoods and carried out a random ID check.
