On the occasion of the anniversary of the International Conspiracy that led to the abduction of Kurdish people's Leader Abdullah Öcalan on 15 February 1999, young people in Athens are preparing for the third and last day of the Long March demanding freedom for Abdullah Öcalan.

On the second day of the march, promoted by Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger-TCŞ with the participation of the European Women's Movement-TJK-E, activists distributed leaflets about the 15 February Conspiracy in the city center.

Young people marched with great enthusiasm and morale and chanted slogans such as “Bijî Serok Apo”, “Bijî berxwedana dungeon” and “Bê Serok jiyan nabe”.

During the march, banners were unfurled to draw attention to losses caused by the Maraş-centered earthquake on 6 February. In addition, the activists who wore black ribbons distributed leaflets about the campaign launched by the Kurdistan aid organization Heyva Sor.

Today the activists will protest isolation by marching to the Turkish Consulate after a press statement in front of the Greek Parliament.
