Youth celebrate 15 August anniversary in Lavrio

A march was held in Lavrio, Greece, under the leadership of Kurdish youths to celebrate the 15 August anniversary.

Hundreds of people attended the march on Wednesday evening promoted by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger-TCŞ) to celebrate the 15 August.

Welat Dikmen spoke on behalf of the youth movement. He commemorated all martyrs who followed legendary guerrilla commander Mahsum Korkmaz (Egit).

Dikmen said the Kurdish people owe their gains to the first bullet that was fired 35 years ago. Dikmen ended his speech by expressing his belief that the 36th year of struggle will be crowned with victory. The action ended with the slogan “Bijî 15ê Tebaxê Yaş" (Long live 15 August).
