Youth shot by police in Cizre dies

Rafet Aşut (23) who was shot by police in Şırnak's Cizre district on 9 November, has lost his life at hospital.

Rafet Aşut (23) who was shot by police in Şırnak's Cizre district on 9 November, has lost his life at hospital.

Aşut had got seriously wounded as a result of the brutal police crackdown on the people who staged a demonstration to protest the continued curfew in Amed's Silvan district.

The youth who had been receiving treatment at Adana Training and Research Hospital since, has passed away Monday afternoon. He will be laid to rest in his hometown Cizre tomorrow.
