YPG (People's Defense Units) has reported in a written statement that the attacks of ISIS gangs aiming to ooccupy Kobanê continued for the 77th day.

YPG/YPJ fighters continue inflicting severe blows on the ISIS gangs and repelling their attacks.

Four members of the ISIS groups were killed as an offensive by YPG/YPJ units targeted several positions occupied by the gangs in Sukul Hal area on the eastern front last night.

Providing information about the fighting on the southeastern front of Kobanê, YPG Press Centre said an ISIS group that attempted to infiltrate around the Culture and Art Center was hit effectively by YPG/J fighters who surrounded and destroyed the group which consisted of 5 ISIS militants trying to lay mines in the buildings around. Corpses of 5 gang members as well as their arms and ammunition were also seized.

The statement said that YPG/YPJ units have full control of the southern part of Kobanê where -it added- 4 other members of the gangs were killed in a clash on Aleppo road last night.

YPG/YPJ fighters also hit a gang group preparing for an attack on the Hospital area liberated the day before. Three gang members were killed in the attack by Defense Units.
