Clashes between ISIS gangs and YPG/YPJ(People's/Women's Protection Units) fighters continued in some neighborhoods of Kobanê last night.

Fierce fighting erupted after YPG/YPJ fighters stronly responded to the gangs that attacked the Kaniya Kurda neighborhood and Freedom Square. Many gang members were reported killed in clashes while no official statement has been made about last night's fighting yet.

YPG/YPJ fighters on the other hand launched an operation against ISIS gangs in the village of Menazê.

The advance of ISIS gangs has also been halted on the southern front where gangs are reported to have attacked civilians.
