Prime Minister Erdoðan had remarked that the "BDP members don't seek a way within democracy as they look for solutions in Diyabakýr rather than in the Parliament, the only place for elected deputies to be and to seek a way within democracy". Erdoðan added that "The BDP members make statements as if a member of a provincial council, not as a member of the Parliament".
Speaking to ANF, BDP Batman MP Bengi Yýldýz remarked that Erdoðan's statements are problematical as he probably didn't understand the meaning of the message given from Diyarbakýr.
"We held our group meeting in Diyarbakir, Kurdistan. If he doesn't understand the meaning and seriousness of this case, he himself will lose." said Yýldýz and continued as follows;
"Erdoðan's statements concerning us show that he is not very competent on the Kurdish problem and the Kurdish issue. I think he needs his advisors to whisper the issue in his ear to understand the seriousness of the subject.
The Prime Minister actually underestimates yesterday's meeting which was historic for both us and the Kurdish people. Or, he is in fact aware of the situation but he is trying to evade the issue for being anxious about the possible results to be brought with it. However, this is not a subject that can be evaded. All writers and intellectuals in the country are now discussing about the meaning of our meeting in Diyarbakýr.
We will hold our next week's meeting in Diyarbakýr. We recommend Prime Minister Erdogan to follow us closely.
The CHP (Republican People's Party) is a state party and a prolongation of the system. The AKP knows this position and therefore drives the CHP into a corner. The AKP is now giving a message to CHP to enter the parliament. In brief, the Prime Minister is trying to get the legitimacy of a lost assembly and to meet the deficit."
Remarking that Erdoðan's statements were not sincere, Yýldýz continued as follows; "The Prime Minister is making zigzagging statements. You can't understand which of his expressions is positive or which one is positive. Erdoðan does not offer a solution or an explanation concerning the problems which originate from the constitution and the legal order and block the politics. These problems will always be brought to the agenda unless the constitutional and legal problems are pointed out. The problem will not end even if the CHP enters the Parliament."
