  An indictment on the murder of HDP member Deniz Poyraz has been accepted. Prosecutor cited the former psychological disorder of the murderer Onur Gencer.
• HDP submits motion for October 10 to become an official day of remembrance

• Birthday celebration for internationalist HPG guerrilla Jakob Şiyar Gabar

  The YPS Martyr Bager Tolhildan Retaliation Team said they warned a drug dealer in Nusaybin and punished “an employee of the AKP” in Istanbul.
• Iraq captures ISIS deputy leader wanted by the US 

  Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi announced that Iraqi forces had captured a top ISIS leader who was wanted by the US.
• Just 41 percent of the people votes in Iraq elections 

  The turnout in the general elections held in Iraq on Sunday was just 41 percent.
• Memorial in Rome for guerrilla Hakim Acar  

  A memorial was held in Rome for Hakim Acar (Şoreş Mardin), who was among the 7 guerrillas who fell as martyrs in the ambush of KDP forces in Xelîfan.
• Student Sapan: We are not afraid 

  Mısra Sapan, an Anarchist Youth member university student who was detained by police and beaten at the protest for Boğaziçi university said: “If they think they can intimidate us with these attacks, they are wrong. We are not afraid.”
• "Kurdish songs threaten prison security" 

  Because Leyla Güven and eight fellow inmates in Elazığ Women's Prison danced to Kurdish songs, the court considers the order and security of the prison threatened. The Kurdish politician's legal counsel has lodged an objection.
• Victims of Ankara massacre commemorated across Turkey 

  Commemoration events were held in many cities on the anniversary of the 10 October massacre which claimed the lives of 104 people attending a peace rally in the Turkish capital Ankara in 2015.
• Parliamentary election in Iraq 

  A new parliament is being elected in Iraq. A total of around 25 million people are called upon to determine the 329 members of parliament. A quarter of all seats are reserved for women.
• Police attack commemoration for Ankara train station victims 

  Police attacked the commemoration that was intended to be held in front of the train station on the anniversary of the 10 October Ankara Massacre and took many people into custody.
• Strong possibility that body found in Sur belongs to Hakan Arslan  

  The DNA samples taken by the remains found in Sur and Hakan Arslan’s father Ali Rıza Arslan matched 60 per cent. A DNA sample was also obtained from the mother, Melike Arslan, in order to provide a conclusive diagnosis.
• Visit to Asrın Law Office: No solution unless Abdullah Öcalan is liberated 

  Delegations from the HDK, HDP, and DBP paid a visit to Asrın Law Office. During the visit, it was said that only with the liberation of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan, would make a solution to the Kurdish crisis possible.

• A construction worker from Kobanê sent to prison in Adana 

  Muhammed B., a construction worker from Kobanê, who was taken into custody in Adana, was sent to prison.
• Professor Vanaik: Isolation is a kind of indictment of the judiciary as well as the government 

  Achin Vanaik,  professor of international relations, emphasized the significance of the Turkish court in maintaining isolation, saying that “the treatment of Öcalan in this manner is an indictment of both the judiciary and the administration.”

• Basque Parliament passes motion in support to the HDP 

  The Basque Parliament has passed a motion in which it “expresses its deep concern over the trial of 108 people that began on April 21 due to the lack of procedural guarantees and the serious violations of the rights of the defense.”
