According to ANHA news agency, a big explosion has ocurred in Afrin city centre after midday.

Details of the explosion and its consequences could not be obtained.

It is reported that a very tense situation has been experienced in Afrin for some time as mercenary groups clash among themselves and with the invading Turkish army.

In recent days the YPG (People's Defense Units) have been carried out several actions in and around the center of Afrin. The YPG, though, has not yet made any statement about Sunday explosion.
